Casey Rowley Barneson has worked in the college counseling field for over the past 5 years and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling and is the author of The College Wellness Guide: A student’s guid to managing mental, physical, and social health on campus. Casey is currently the counselor at Beverly Hills High School providing comprehensive college counseling and has previously served as the college counselor at Malibu High School. Her experience includes traveling nationally and internationally visiting college campuses, meeting with admission counselors and assisting students grades 9-12 throughout the college admission process. Casey currently serves on an advisory board with a four-year institution and on the board of a non-profit scholars program giving access to students with limited college counseling.
Casey is an adjunct professor with the University of La Verne teaching college and career development to graduate students completing their Master’s in Educational Counseling. She is also a part of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling as an active member and presenter. Casey was featured on Princeton Review’s 20 School Counselors Who Make a Difference in February of 2019.
